Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Kathy Giles.
This course develops the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of skills related to physical activity. Students will participate in a range of physical activities which they will relate to Hauora and future participation. Students will participate in a performance improvement programme and evaluate its effectiveness. They will demonstrate performance in Badminton and Tough Guy/Gal challenge against national standards. Students will apply their knowledge and understanding of biophysical and socio-cultural factors in a variety of contexts.

Recommended Prior Learning
Level 2 Sport Science, or at the discretion of the Head of Department for Physical Education.
