Course Description

The aim of this course is to build on the knowledge gained in the Level 1 and/or Level 2 Economics courses. This course covers both micro and macro-economics. Students will learn the basic micro-economic concepts. They will use the relevant economic models to illustrate and explain changes to the models as a result of the operation of market forces, the international trade markets and government interventions. Students will also explore the effectiveness of government policies and/or external factors in achieving different macro-economic goals which include price stability, full employment, economic growth and balanced current account.
