Course Description
Teacher in Charge: James Hart.
This course is focused on real life issues, problem solving and the development of a range of skills and knowledge that will provide students with a wide range of employment opportunities. There is one external assessment - Differences in development where we compare urban and outback Australia. There are four internal assessments- urban pattern of murder in Chicago; geographic research from Tongariro National Park; the global pattern of HIV/Aids, and the contemporary issue of our impact on the Hauraki Gulf.
