Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Lois Bruce.
This course focuses on developing study skills, work reading and financial literacy skills. Students will have the opportunity to gain Level 1 credits in a range of unit standards. The aim of this Course is to give students an introduction to future work related activities.

FOR YEAR 11 (LEVEL 1) STUDENTS - 2025:
Students will be given the opportunity to sit literacy/numeracy co-requisites from Year 10.
NCEA Level 1 - following the completion of the first year of implementation of the reduced and revised standards, we will evaluate assessments for 2025.
